The Foyer Federation has developed a series of training workshops that enable organisations, services and individuals to ‘be’ Advantaged Thinking and to apply this thinking in within their practice.
We want to challenge the deficit-based approach to services for young people and instead champion an asset-based approach, seeing the potential in both young people and staff.
MOVING TO AN ASSET-BASED CULTURE
There is a need to challenge the deficit-based approach to services for young people – and our Advantaged Thinking training offer aims to do just this. We help services and individuals champion an asset-based approach, enabling them to see the potential in young people, as well as staff.

COACHING: A MORE EFFECTIVE WAY TO WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE
Our coaching workshops equip participants with the tools to lead coaching sessions, exploring the fundamentals of coaching, as well as the tools and resources required to be able to coach.
