Training
Using over 32 years of experience, the Foyer Federation has developed a series of engaging training sessions that bring the methodologies and practice of Advantaged Thinking to life.

Consultancy and guest speaking
We work alongside youth sector and housing organisations to support their development and growth with a particular emphasis on developing strengths based culture, policies, processes and practice. We can shape bespoke proposals for organisations and teams to help them reflect, learn and innovate.
Recent examples include:
- Research, support and development work partnering with a small regional housing association to explore the development of a Foyer for young people with disabilities.
- Delivering a series of Innovation Labs to support youth work staff to explore solutions to common challenges.
- Delivering development days with operational managers and senior staff to help prioritise future work and manage staff skills development.
Our team will also occasionally be made available to speak at relevant events – their time and travel expenses would usually be covered under these circumstances.
