Youth Foyer Benchmarking Report 2024-25

Every year, we ask Youth Foyers on our quality development programme to share data on:

• their service’s finances, staffing and hours of support provided to young people;
  –
• the demographics and needs of young people who moved into their service during the period;
  –
  
• and the progress made by the young people who moved out during the period.

This enables us to benchmark services against the national average; tailor our support to best meet the needs of Youth Foyers in our network; and identify sectoral trends to inform our work.

The 2024-25 report demonstrates how Youth Foyers have been responding to contextual challenges in the sector, from rising percentages of young people moving in facing challenges relating to health and wellbeing to tightened budgets and lower staff capacity.

However, despite rising challenges, the Youth Foyer network continues to make outstanding impact in the lives of the young people they work with.
