Fundraise
Come together to change lives
Without the support of our partners and individuals, we would not be here for young people experiencing homelessness.
From running a marathon to having a cake sale, there are so many fun and easy ways to raise money to support the work of the Foyer Federation. Whether you want to fundraise on your own, with friends and family or get your school or work involved, we’ve got everything you need to start fundraising to help support young people living in Foyers across the UK.
If you’re interested in fundraising for us, get in touch at [email protected].
In 2022-23, 90% of young people made progress with their personal development. In the same year, 90% of young people made progress with their housing.

Payroll contribution
Donate straight from your pay before tax!
Donations are taken from your pay or company/personal pension after your National Insurance contributions are removed but before Income Tax is calculated and deducted. For instance, if you are a 20% taxpayer, 80% of your donation amount will be taken from your salary and 20% will be taken from the tax which would have gone to HMRC.
For example, a £20 donation will cost you £16 – but the Foyer Federation will still receive £20 because the £4 which would have otherwise gone to the taxman goes to the charity.
Challenge events
Take on a run, cycle, trek or even a skydive to support the Foyer Federation. You never know, you might even discover a new hobby at the same time!
In celebration
Have you considered making donations in lieu of birthday, wedding or anniversary presents? Asking friends and family for donations to charity instead of presents may be a solution for all those gifts sitting unused…
You can set up an online fundraising page or ask people to donate by cheque or credit card in celebration of your special occasion.
In memory
Donating to the Foyer Federation in memory of a loved one is a great way to remember someone and support our work at the same time.
For more information about donating in memory, please get in contact with our team at [email protected].
