Take on the #StrideToThrive Challenge

Walk or run from cairn to coast to break the cycle of youth homelessness

Young people who experience homelessness are more likely to experience it later in life too. Our purpose is to break this cycle.

This September, we’re calling on walkers and runners to take on the challenge of traveling a collective 1000km to represent the distance from Aberdeen to Penzance – our northern-and-southernmost Youth Foyers.

Together, we’re aiming to raise £10,000 – £10 for every km moved! – for young people who can’t live at home. We’d love for you to join the movement:

  • Walk or run a distance that’s challenging for you between 21st-27th September 2025.
  • Join a community of walkers and runners to support and encourage each other.
  • Get support and guidance to help raise vital funds.
  • Be part of a purpose-led movement that’s proactively breaking the cycle of youth homelessness on a national scale.

How we’re breaking the cycle of youth homelessness:

We work with youth supported housing providers to transform their services into Youth Foyers. Youth Foyers are more than a place to stay: they are thriving communities, with people – not circumstance – at the heart.

They work with young people to build on their strengths, talents and aspirations; realise their power and purpose; and move on in life equipped to thrive as independent adults.

Sign up for the #StrideToThrive challenge and help break the cycle of youth homelessness.
