All the information you’ll need to start fundraising as you take on the #StrideToThrive challenge this September!

Thank you for signing up for the #StrideToThrive challenge from 21-27th September 2025.

Together, we’re aiming to raise £10,000 to break the cycle of youth homelessness – and we’re delighted to have you with us!

On this page, you can find all of the information you’ll need to start fundraising as you take on the #StrideToThrive challenge!

How to set up your JustGiving page

Below you can find instructions for setting up your JustGiving page. But, if you’d rather just send people to the main campaign page and skip this all together, that’s fine too!

If you don’t have an account yet, go to justgiving.com to sign up. It should only take a couple of minutes. If you already have an account, just log in and you’re ready to start.

Follow this link and click “Start Fundraising.”

When asked ‘Are you fundraising in memory of someone?’, choose the option that best suits you.

When asked ‘Are you taking part in an activity?’, select the answer that best suits you.

(Optional but helpful) When asked ‘How much would you like to raise?’, enter your fundraising target.

When you get to ‘Personalise your page’, you’ll see a suggested title and description from us, explaining why you’re fundraising. Feel free to add your own message to make it personal.

You’ll also be invited to ‘add a cover photo or video’. We provide a suggested image, but you can add your own if you prefer.

Once your page is ready, launch it and share it with friends, family and anyone else who might want to support you! Below you can find a sample social media post and you can download a graphic to accompany it here.

Fundraising Tips

Make your fundraising page your own by adding a personal message and photos or videos. Sharing your reason for joining the #StrideToThrive Challenge helps people connect with you and motivates them to donate.

Choose a goal that feels achievable but still pushes you to challenge yourself. A fundraising target encourages people to give and track your progress.

Regular updates are a great way to keep people engaged. Share how you’re doing, what’s keeping you motivated and any milestones you reach along the way.

For example, if you want to share the distances you’ve covered with your supporters, you can use an activity-tracking app like Strava or Fitbit to show your progress automatically on your fundraising page.

If you’re not using an app, you can still let people know how you’re getting on by posting photos or short updates about your walk(s) or run(s).

The more people who see your page, the more support you’ll get. So, don’t be shy: share your link on social media, WhatsApp or any other platforms you use. Below you can find a sample social media post and you can download a graphic to accompany it here.
