Service Overview:
YMCA Milton Keynes is an impressive 242 bed purpose-built project offering three distinct stages of accommodation for 18-35 year olds within walking distance of Milton Keynes railway station and city centre. While the service originally opened as a traditional YMCA hostel in 1981, the new, more Advantaged Thinking style building was developed as a 20 million pound project between 2015 to 2020. The accommodation offer comprises three stages: stage one, 30 higher support level en-suite rooms with catered food provided in the YMCA café; Stage two –70 lower-support en-suite rooms in 8-13 room clusters around shared kitchen units and community space; stage 3, up to 106 independent living units with access to support where needed.
