Service Overview:
YMCA Leicestershire provides supported housing for over 100 young people aged 16-25 years old, including shared houses across Leicester and a historic residential hub in the city centre.
Every young person who moves into YMCA Leicestershire will have a dedicated Transition Coach and a support pathway to move towards independent living. They offer personalised one-on-one support, addressing key areas such as household bills, housing applications, moving to private tenancies and support tailored for each person’s needs. This includes developing essential independent living skills and help to maintain education or work, giving each young person the chance to belong, contribute and thrive.
