Service Overview:
Foyer for the Island is a 45-bed project for 16-30 year olds within walking distance to Ryde Esplanade station and port in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Self-contained flats are housed in clusters of 9 around 5 shared kitchens over 4 floors.
The Foyer was first opened in 2001. Ownership of the Foyer was taken on by Sovereign Housing Association following a merger with Spectrum Housing in November 2016. Sovereign has since invested around 250K in the building as part of an impressive refurb that gives the Foyer a bright and inviting psychologically informed environment. This includes attractive communal facilities featuring a training room, community kitchen space and gym. Further improvements include upgrades to the gym, wifi, and designated washing machines for each flat.
