Type of Accommodation:
Self-contained single occupancy flats
Service Overview:
The Eden Rural (Penrith) Foyer opened in 2003, converted from a disused cinema. The ground floor of the Foyer houses training rooms with computers, interview rooms and a number of additional offices rented out to local agencies, along with a cyber café, kitchen space and conference room.
The accommodation block is accessed via a separate entrance leading to 15 large, well-presented self-contained flats and a chill out area with an activity room housing cooking facilities. The flats are split into 5 commissioned spaces, 1 night stop normally leased by De Paul, 4 temporary homeless spaces supported by a different agency, and 5 non-commissioned spaces offering more affordable rents for 18-24 year-olds on a non-supported basis.
