Changemakers bring to the Foyer Federation an exciting set of programmes geared towards helping young people into leadership roles, and allowing employers to benefit from their skills, experience and unique perspective.

Leadership for Employability

Leadership for Employability supports young people (aged 16- 25) to unlock their leadership potential to increase their employment opportunities.

The programme recruits two committed individuals who want to develop their coaching skills to become a Talent Coach. Following an intensive 5-day training residential, they return to your organisation to lead a group of at least 16 people aged 16-25, through our 40 hour Leadership for Employability programme over 3 months.

A core component of this programme is putting the skills your young people are learning into practice through a social action project.

Organisational Development Programme

The Organisational Development Programme is a chance for young people and employers to benefit from each other’s skills and experience.

Young People

This is your chance to make a real difference within an organisation, and receive leadership development training, and get paid for your time working at an organisation. You will be paid £7.64 an hour for 10 days work.

The programme supports organisations to improve how they engage with young people, either as customers, clients or employees. Support is provided every step of the way, through an individual Facilitator and by delivering a supporting programme of training events. A Changemaker (aged 16-25) is employed to work with you on a project that will support you in where and how you should be engaging young people in your organisation in order to achieve an organisational goal. They are employed for 6 months and paid for 10 days work during this period.
