Sunday night/Monday morning Feeling

When it comes to Sunday night or Monday morning, with the start of another traditional working week looming, many experience a sinking feeling, it’s back to work. Getting ready for the week ahead may require doing a batch of ironing, buying travel tickets or preparing for an important meeting. Young people experiencing homelessness may not have the luxury of easily buying work clothes, affording travel costs or having access to a computer to apply for a job. Small investments from Foyer Federation talent bonds can help young people buy a suit, a computer, or pay for train fares or petrol – items that support young people to work, so that they can enjoy that sinking feeling because they are working.
